The autumn breeze brings coolness, and the golden harvest season arrives as scheduled. On September 2nd, the "Footprints of Harvest - Agricultural Program Celebration of Harvest" event kicked off in the beautiful Xinjiang region. The first stop was in Shihezi City, sharing the joy of harvest with local cotton farmers. Then on September 5th, it arrived in Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture to taste the fruitful results of corn and showcase the tip of the iceberg of this beautiful and rich land in Xinjiang.
Entering Shihezi: Painting a Cotton Sea, Picking up Light and Harvesting Picture Together
On September 2nd, the air in Shihezi City was already filled with a hint of coldness, and in the continuous drizzle, the Ding Tian Ji Nong team was preparing for the meeting in a tense and orderly manner. With the joint efforts of team members, the originally planned conference size of 60 people had over 130 participants, and the attractiveness of the event far exceeded expectations.
Huang Zhi, General Manager of Dingtian Jinnong Northwest Area Company, gave a brief introduction to the origin of Farmers' Harvest Festival and Dingtian Jinnong Company. Mr. Huang mentioned that Dingtian Jinan has been rooted in this fertile land for 23 years since entering the Xinjiang market in 2001. During this long period of time, the company has closely cooperated with multiple agricultural technology units and research institutions such as the Autonomous Region Soil and Fertilizer Station and the Corps Agricultural Technology Promotion Center to promote and apply products, serving tens of millions of acres of crops such as cotton, corn, wheat, and red dates in Xinjiang. The effectiveness of the products has been extensively and reliably verified.
Han Xinai, General Manager of Dingtian Jinan Agricultural Market Center, vividly demonstrated the excellent performance of Jinan Letu in soil improvement, water and fertilizer retention through the "Soil Bulk Density Experiment" and "Soil Water Retention Experiment". The experimental results show that the soil treated with Jinan Letu is more fluffy and has significantly better water retention than its competitors.
The event also invited Brother Chen from Company 1 of the 147th Regiment to share his planting experience. Last year, Brother Chen's cotton production ranked first among the 147th Regiment's 1st Company (540 jin/mu), and he has been using the Ji Nong Le Tu for four consecutive years. Brother Chen witnessed the significant changes brought about by the use of Ji Nong Le Tu: the cotton roots were more developed and the leaves were greener. He provided a detailed explanation of the usage method: drip drip 500g/mu of water when the seedlings emerge, drip 500g/mu of water again when the first water is applied, use 1kg/mu around July 20th after finishing the top, and use 500g/mu again in August, a total of four times a year. Chen's successful experience has also attracted surrounding farmers, who have started using Ji Nong Le Tu this year in order to achieve better results in root and leaf protection of cotton in the later stage.
Entering Yili: Painting a Harvest Picture of Ten Thousand Acres of Corn
On September 5th, following the footsteps of the "Harvest Footprints - Agricultural Program Celebration" activity, we arrived in Yili, Xinjiang, which enjoys the reputation of "Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall" and "Hometown of Melons and Fruits". Here, the event was jointly held by Dingtian Jinong and Yili Lebainong Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. At 11:30 a.m., the event was held in Qiongbola Town, Chabuchar Xibe Autonomous County (hereinafter referred to as Chaxian County). This event has received high attention from the government of Jongbola town, and Mayor Pa attended the meeting and delivered a passionate speech.
Mayor analyzed the mystery of the corn harvest in Qiongbola Town from the perspectives of high standard farmland construction and scientific field management. He revealed that a cornfield that has used the agricultural assistance program has an average yield of 1300 kilograms per mu. Mayor Pa encourages the large-scale farmers present to communicate and support each other, while pursuing personal wealth, leading more farmers towards the path of prosperity.
Mr. Zhao from Yili Lebainong Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., based on his rich experience and professional knowledge, summarized the four major problems faced by local farmers in the use of large chemical fertilizers: low utilization rate of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers, difficulty in seedling emergence in saline alkali land, problem of seedling emergence in repeated cropping land, and treatment of repeated crop damage. These problems have long plagued farmers, until 2022 when they encountered the high content liquid humic acid water-soluble fertilizer from Dingtian Jinong - Jinong Letu. Mr. Zhao expressed that the performance of Ji Nong Le Tu in terms of resistance to repeated cropping, salt alkali tolerance, adsorption of heavy metal ions in soil, and improvement of fertilizer utilization rate left a deep impression on him. Through experimental demonstrations in the corn field of Cha County, it was found that corn grown using Jinan Letu had more uniform emergence and stronger plants. On this basis, Le Bai Nong Company has achieved significant harvest results by using Ji Nong Le Tu on different crops (sugar beet, seed corn) in multiple regions.
Mr. Zhao predicts that the production of 17000 acres of corn from Mr. Ma, a member of the County Hegu Planting Professional Cooperative, at the event site is expected to reach 1.3 tons per acre.
Mr. Ma, a member of the Hegu Planting Professional Cooperative, shared his experience of first encountering the Joyful Land of Farmers. He initially purchased 3 tons of agricultural land with a trial and error mentality. After using it on sugar beets, the effect was significant, so more than ten tons were added. It was also tested on corn and zucchini, and the results were beyond his expectations. In an interview, Mr. Ma stated that this year his 17000 mu of corn is expected to increase production by 200-300 pounds per mu.
Teacher Yang Jingshe from the Dingtian Agricultural Technology Expert Group in Xinjiang explained in detail to the farmers how to correctly use agricultural solutions on corn. Teacher Yang suggests using Jinan root curl for seed mixing before sowing corn to promote rooting and emergence; During the small bell mouth period, use Jinan Letu with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers for drip irrigation to enhance stem thickness and improve fertilizer utilization efficiency; Reusing Jinan Letu during the large horn mouth period, combined with foliar spraying of Jinan Yuxile, to solve the problem caused by nutrient deficiency in corn. Teacher Yang shared that after using the Ji Nong program on seed corn production in Xinyuan County last year, the yield not only reached over 500 kilograms per mu, but also the corn color was bright, the particles were plump, and the quality was better than the control field.
In this harvest season, we not only witnessed the magnificent scenery of cotton fields and corn fields on the land of Xinjiang, but also felt the power of technology and the wisdom of farmers. From Shihezi to Yili, every place is filled with joy of harvest and longing for the future. The agricultural relief program has won the trust and praise of farmers with its excellent performance and significant effects, becoming a powerful assistant for increasing agricultural production and income.
With the successful completion of the "Footprints of Harvest - Agricultural Program Celebration" event, we firmly believe that through continuous technological innovation and sincere service, we can help more farmers achieve their dreams of wealth and jointly paint a brilliant chapter in Xinjiang's agriculture. Let us work together and sow hope, harvest happiness, and welcome one golden harvest season after another on the vast land of Xinjiang.
