The footsteps of harvest will witness the feast of Xiangcheng's tobacco harvest

On August 16, 2024, in the scorching summer, Wangzhuang Village, Xiangcheng County, Henan Province, welcomed a unique agricultural technology observation meeting titled "Footprints of Ji Nong · Harvest - Ji Nong Plan Celebrating Harvest and Ji Nong Tobacco Full Process Management Plan Observation Meeting". This grand event, jointly organized by Shuai Meng Fertilizer Store in Xiangcheng County and Dingtian Jinan, aims to share advanced tobacco planting techniques and bring advanced and easily replicable excellent planting solutions to tobacco farmers.

Although the temperature reached 32 degrees Celsius at 8 o'clock in the morning, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of farmers to participate. Under the active call of the two leaders of Shuai Meng Agricultural Materials, Mr. Cai and Mr. Wang, nearly a hundred tobacco farmers braved the scorching heat and attended this cost-effective agricultural technology exchange activity together. During the meeting, Zhou You, the Planning Manager of Dingtian Jinan Agricultural Company, gave a comprehensive and in-depth explanation of the company's background, development, and the characteristics of its high content humic acid products. Humic acid, as a high-quality organic fertilizer component, has significant effects on improving soil fertility and promoting crop growth. Manager Zhou also introduced in detail to the farmers present the complete tobacco planting plan of Jinan Agricultural Company, including the selection of tobacco seedlings, soil management, fertilization and irrigation, disease and pest control, and shared the successful experience of Jinan Agricultural products in major tobacco producing areas across the country in the past five years, including Yunnan, Guizhou, Northeast, Hubei, Henan and other places.

In addition, Professor Zheng Qunlang, the leader of the Dingtian Jinan Agricultural Technology Expert Group, gave in-depth explanations on various aspects of tobacco cultivation, especially the prevention and control of common diseases and pests in tobacco. The "two black diseases" specifically mentioned, namely black shank disease and root black rot disease, are the two major stubborn diseases in tobacco cultivation. Teacher Zheng elaborated on effective methods for preventing and treating these two diseases, providing practical technical support for farmers.

At the event, farmers not only listened attentively, but also actively shared and asked questions, hoping to learn more scientific planting knowledge through this observation. Among them, a local tobacco farmer named Liu, who is also the owner of today's demonstration field, has become a beneficiary of the Jinan Tobacco Planting Plan. This year, he is trying to use the Jinan Tobacco Planting Plan for the first time and is particularly satisfied with its effectiveness in tobacco seedling extraction. He planted 70 acres of tobacco and after adopting the agricultural relief plan, it is expected to increase production by about 100 pounds per acre this year. This figure is undoubtedly exciting good news for farmers.
