There is a local saying in Xinjiang: "It is better not to play Hotan Jade than to eat Kunyu Jujube", which is the representative of Xinjiang red jujube - Hotan Jade Jujube.

Kunyu pollution-free alkaline sandy soil, abundant solar and thermal resources, and the glacier snow water resources of Kunlun Mountain rich in mineral elements provide a high-quality growth environment for Hotan Jade jujube, while the desert endows Hotan Jade jujube with a unique growth environment, sufficient solar and thermal resources, high-quality light and radiation, and unique picking conditions, which achieve the sweet quality of Hetianyu jujube.

Boss Yang from Hetai New Village, 224 Regiment, Kunyu City, Hetian Prefecture, is one of the local experts in planting Hetian Jujube. During the sprouting, fruiting, and young fruiting stages of Yuzao, he carefully takes care of it.
